Arpoador
THE VILLAGE
The village of Arpoador is very close to the Delta do Parnaíba, in the middle of the Protected Area (PA) of the Pequenos Lençóis.
A haven of peace between dunes, lagoons, beaches and deltas, whose tranquillity is only disturbed by the activity of the local fishermen and some kiters enjoying its strong winds.
It will be necessary to arrive on time, as the village can only be reached at low tide and with an experienced driver.
NATURE
The PA of the Pequenos Lençóis is a place where freshwater lagoons flood the fields of dunes, some up to 30 meters, a surprising scenery present in very few regions of Brazil.
The most important attraction of the region is the Delta do Parnaíba, the third-largest delta in the world. An ecosystem created in a maze of canals circulating between mangroves. It is worth the visit by night and by day, two different environments that will leave no one indifferent.
KITESURF
Kitesurfing in Arpoador is an incredible experience, as the beach is protected by a strip of sand, keeping the waves from reaching the coast. In addition, waist-deep water at low tide makes the conditions of this spot perfect.
You will have to leave the village in downwind to arrive to the next kite spot, Praia do Amor. A magnificent beach open on the ocean, where playing with the waves will guarantee good memories.
