THE VILLAGE
It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil, a quiet and authentic village that had to adapt to the rhythm of nature.
The flooding during a generous rainy season forced part of the village to move to safer areas. Part of the terrain remains at the mercy of the surrounding waters, making its landscapes constantly in motion.
NATURE
The beach and the delta leave a space for strolling and admiring nature, it will not be necessary to go to another place to feel isolated from the world.
This paradise of tranquillity is very close to Barra Grande, a village with an international atmosphere created by kitesurfers at the beginning of the century. A fantastic place on the coast!
The visit that has to be done is, undoubtedly, the Delta of Parnaíba, a unique ecosystem with a diversity of surprisingly rich flora and fauna.
KITESURF
The conditions for kitesurfing cannot be better, windy at any time of the day.
It is a vast area of flat and shallow water protected from the ocean by a sandbar. When it empties, it shows a landscape of large lagoons connected by the dunes. Some of them are always large enough to kite.
To fully enjoy the area, nothing better than a day of kite in Barra Grande, to return in a short but unforgettable downwind to Macapá.
