Cumbuco is Brazil’s kitesurfing capital. Its proximity to Fortaleza International Airport and its incredible conditions has made its name famous worldwide since the beginnings of this sport.
Between the ocean and a field of dunes, it is a village that mixes local and international bars and restaurants, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere day and night.
NATURE
Cumbuco has for border a field of dunes, a place highly visited for its different and beautiful scenery.
Among them are the freshwater lagoons, ideal for swimming quietly or diving from slides and zip lines set up in the dunes. Without a doubt, the best place with the beach to enjoy the colours of the sunset.
KITESURF
The heavenly beach lined with coconut trees offers strong and constant wind conditions, which increase as the day goes on.
For those wishing to enjoy a calm ocean, it will be necessary to wait for the low tide, but if one does not want to wait, the Lagoa do Cauipe, at the end of the beach, is the perfect spot. A vast lagoon where the wind blows as strong but where the water is flat, it is the favourite training place of many pro riders.
