Guajiru
THE VILLAGE
Guajiru has one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. The village sits in front of the moving dune fields and in the middle of an endless expanse of sand.
This small typical village of the Nordeste lives almost entirely from fishing and also from keeping the traditions and know-how of the region such as crafts and agriculture.
NATURE
Its beach with crystal clear waters and white sand is unique in the region, perfect for relaxing in its natural pools, with the fishermen’s boats and coconut trees completing the landscape.
The best local excursion is the visit to the nearby Mundaú river, a boat trip to discover its labyrinth of mangroves and its rich fauna. To get there you will have to cross fields of dunes and long beaches, an adventure that will leave unique memories.
KITESURF
On its beach, sail without any obstacle in flat waters at low tide and with some waves at high tide.
To enjoy flat waters all day long, it is best to go to the Lagoa do Jegue, and if looking to play in the waves, nothing better than following them in downwind to Flecheiras.
Further away, at the mouth of the Mundaú river, a lagoon of calm waters is formed at high tide, an atypical and incredible spot to kitesurf.
