Moitas
THE VILLAGE
Moitas is a small village very close to Icaraizinho, on the banks of the river Aracatiaçu, which until the arrival of tourism lived exclusively on nature and crafts.
In a landscape full of coconut trees, one of the most beautiful beaches of Ceará appears, where residents are an example of community tourism, contributing to the development and preservation of traditions and the environment.
NATURE
Around the village, nothing better than explore the long beach or discover some craft workshops of its inhabitants.
In its surroundings, a walk along the river to Ilha das Ostras is an incredible experience which crosses the waterways created between the mangroves by boat, or even by SUP.
KITESURF
To kitesurf, no need to go very far, the waves play in the open ocean while the mouth of the river offers quiet waters.
Near Moitas there is a huge spot of flat waters, the Lagoa de Patos.
For more adventure, the best plan is to downwind from Caetanos beach to Moitas, enjoying the most beautiful landscapes of the entire coast.
