Paracuru
THE VILLAGE
Paracuru is located between a huge field of dunes and the mouth of a river, a city to which nature has gifted the richest and most diverse ecosystem of the region.
This same nature once turned against it, the proof is in Praia das Almas, where the remains of the old town have been covered by moving dunes, an incredible place at sunset.
A simple yet active place, where you can enjoy local and international cuisine until late at night.
NATURE
The limits of Paracuru are made by the nature, and all deserve to be discovered.
The Curu river is a very rich ecosystem, where the mangroves create large channels that are bursting with life and activity, while on the ocean side one can swim with the fish in the natural pools on the reefs of Praia da Pedra Rachada.
Another limit is the dune field and its lençóis. An unusual landscape due to the lakes of water that form during the rainy season, a gift of nature.
KITESURF
Paracuru offers incredible conditions in its more than twenty kilometres of coastline, a great kite spot full of deserted beaches.
Without a doubt, the best spot is the Quebra Mar. The reefs form a kind of lagoon within the ocean offering perfect flat waters, while they create the best waves on the coast, increasing depending on the type of tide, they can reach up to 3 meters.
