Tatajuba
THE VILLAGE
Tatajuba is a small fishing village that keeps all its authenticity in the most touristic region of the Nordeste. Surrounded by dunes and installed on the edge of a delta, it has had to adapt to nature over time.
Between 1970 and 1980 its people experienced how a huge dune relentlessly advanced in the direction of their village until it ended up burying it. Many families stayed and founded the Novo Tatajuba.
NATURE
The biggest attraction is the Tatajuba lagoon and its huge dunes, an oasis of adventure where thrills and local discovery are mixed.
Without a doubt, the most beautiful part of the coast is the one that separates Tatajuba from Jericoacoara, a trip full of sensations and with very different landscapes. After the dunes, appear an incredible area of mangroves, the Mangue Seco. Then it will take to cross a river to finally reach Jeri by the beach, the ideal place for sunset and so much more.
KITESURF
Its delta provides magnificent conditions for kiteboarding, as its sediments leave a natural protection against the waves, creating an extensive area of flat water at high tide.
The spot of Guriú is also very close, a lagoon that offers a unique scenery to kitesurf, but the best is to downwind back to Tatajuba, where the most beautiful landscapes of the region can be observed.
