THE VILLAGE
Camocim is on the banks of a river and at the gates of an endless beach. A very active town with an economy closely linked to trade since the arrival of Europeans.
The vestiges of the past blend in the streets, in which its inhabitants maintain the characteristic lifestyle of the region.
NATURE
What could be better than discovering its surroundings on a walk along its immense beach to enjoy its varied landscapes. In one direction the nature of the Barra dos Remédios, and in the other the discovery of the park of dunes near the Lagoa da Cangalha.
Why not go further and be seduced by the attractions of the south, a ride to Jericoacoara passing by Guriú and Tatajuba will undoubtedly be one of the best trip’s memories.
KITESURF
The mouth of the river has formed a place of calm waters of incredible beauty, the Ilha do Amor, right in front of the town.
Leaving the village towards Macéio there are over 50 km of deserted beaches with the best wind in the region as well as sections of waves and flat water. Further this way, La Barra dos Remédios offer a river mouth with unique scenery and conditions in the surroundings.
